 | Helping Radcliffe Work |
 |
Shocking figures released in June show a massive increase in unemployment, which is now at its highest level for over 12 years.
Labour closed the local Job Centre in Radcliffe in 2007, meaning that those searching for work would have to travel to Prestwich or even further for advice and job opportunities.
We are pleased to announce after much work from Prospective Conservative MP, Michelle Wiseman, the Conservative run Council is opening a Job Club for Radcliffe residents.
The Job Club will be open on Tuesdays and Fridays between 11am to 3pm, and is located at 3 Blackburn Street, Radcliffe. It will offer practical advice and support for those struggling to find employment.
Michelle Wiseman, prospective Conservative MP for Bury South commented, "We can't guarantee people a job, but what we can do is make sure that their CV stands out, provide vital advice and support, help with interview practice, and put people in contact with local businesses".
